Should you require any general medical assistance during our closed period, please ring 111 for medical assistance. For any accidents please go to your nearest A&E dept. or for Minor injuries to your nearest walk in centre which for South Sefton is:

For anyone experiencing chest pains, please ring 999 or go to your nearest A&E dept. as soon as possible.
Please Note: We have now added a telephone queuing system, our phones are manned every working day by 3 care co-ordinators Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 6.30 pm, if you get the engaged signal this means all our lines are busy, so please hang up and try later.
If you do not require an appointment with a GP/ANP on the day you ring, please telephone after midday for tests, results or prescriptions.
Like all sectors of the health service, we are currently experiencing exceptional levels of demand, and some patients cannot always get appointments as quickly as they might like. In the last six months the practice has dealt with over 32,500 telephone calls, which is only one element of the day-to-day work. Our staff are working under enormous pressure to do their jobs as best as they can with the resources available.
We have patients demanding appointments with a certain doctor, which they say they are registered with and believe they have rights to see that GP only, this is not correct they have a right to ask for a certain GP, but if that doctor is fully booked then it is expected they should accept an alternative GP if offered.
We are experiencing a lot of patients who are abusing our staff and some GP’s and believe that it is acceptable to be aggressive or verbally abusive towards our staff, this is unacceptable, we operate our service under the N.H.S. Zero Tolerance scheme and this means we are prepared to remove patients and may ask them to seek there medical care from another source. Therefore please be kind when dealing with personnel at the surgery, treat our staff with the same respect they
We encourage all our patients to travel to us through walking, cycling or public transport and remind those that do have a car to park courtesy for our neighbours.
Please be aware we do not open Saturdays or Sundays or any English Bank Holidays. Thank You
