We encourage all our patients to travel to us through walking, cycling or public transport and remind those that do have a car to park courtesy for our neighbours
Our surgery doors are open. To ensure the safety of other patients and our staff all patients attending must continue to wear a face covering and keep social distancing measures.
Only x2 patients will be allowed to stand at the reception desk at any one time, if the reception desk is full at the time you arrive, please wait outside of the building until a receptionist is free to see you.

The surgery website is a most effective way of giving our patients access to help and the latest information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It contains complete information about all the services we offer. It also details how the practice is organised and introduces our doctors, other medical and administrative staff and describes their various responsibilities.

Dear Patients,
We are writing to you on behalf of Kingsway Surgery. Like all sectors of the health service, we are currently experiencing exceptional levels of demand, and some patients cannot always get appointments as quickly as they might like. In the last six months the practice has dealt with over 32,500 telephone calls, which is only one element of the day-to-day work. Our staff are working under enormous pressure to do their jobs as best as they can with the resources available.
We have remained open for patients throughout the pandemic, and all of our team have made personal sacrifices and taken personal risks to support our patients through this unprecedented global pandemic. On top of this they have all given up a lot of their time to roll out a hugely successful vaccination campaign in our local hubs, to allow patients to have their covid vaccines locally, rather than travel to hospitals or larger covid hubs on Merseyside.
Unfortunately, a very small minority of patients have been verbally abusive to our staff, which is unacceptable. This is a very small minority, and the vast majority of our patients are polite and respectful. Whilst we would like to thank the majority of our patients for their support and patience during these challenging times, we must insist that the small minority who are aggressive and abusive, treat our staff with the same respect they would wish to be treated with.
We have a zero-tolerance policy at the practice, and abusive or aggressive behaviour, after a warning, will result in a removal from the practice.
Thank you for your support.
