Named Accountable GP

Named accountable GP means that the practice will need to ensure that each patient on their practice list is assigned a named, accountable GP.

For 30 Kingsway Surgery patients your accountable named GP's are Dr McDonagh & Dr Wakeford.

The named GP will not take 24 hour responsibility for the patient or make a change to their working hours, the requirement does not imply personal availability for GP's throughout the working week.  The named GP cannot be the only GP to care for the patient.

Please ask the reception staff or doctor, who your named, accountable GP is.   Patients who wish to change their named, accountable GP must put the request in writing to the Practice Manager.
