INFLUENZA VACCINATION 2024/25 to be announced

The practice has recognised that last year’s clinics were very busy due to two separate vaccine types being used for different age groups and patients attending out of their allocated time slot.

 This year we are using one vaccine type for all adult patients and we would be grateful if you attend at your allocated time which will improve the smooth running of the flu clinics.

 The practice purchases vaccines in advance for those who are eligible. If you are eligible yet attend a local pharmacy for your flu vaccine then the vaccine reserved for you here is not required and the practice loses essential income.

UNABLE TO ATTEND YOUR ALLOCATED CLINIC?  

o    Are you unable to attend as you are Housebound? 

If YES do you have a relative / friend / carer who are able to bring you to the surgery? 

If you DO NOT have anyone to bring you to the surgery please contact us BEFORE the TBA to inform us, so that we can add you to our Housebound register. You will then be contacted in due course to arrange a Practice Nurse to come and visit you at home to administer your flu vaccination. These visits are likely to begin taking place TBA.

DO YOU WISH TO DECLINE YOUR FLU VACCINE THIS YEAR?

If YES please contact the surgery as soon as possible to inform us, so that we can update your medical record.
